GroupCamp announced today that GroupCamp Project now supports online time tracking tool and timesheet in its project management suite to allows project members of a project to easily add time records on the tasks assigned to them. Project managers can then monitor the profitability of their projects by tracking the time spent by their different teams and view the overall of their client projects.
Time tracking application - easy time recording
GroupCamp Project now includes Timelog, a new time tracking application into which all members of a project can enter time records on their project activities thus allowing Project Managers to track the time spent in real-time. Once time records are entered project managers can use the new custom report feature to generate reports on the time spent across one or more projects. The Timelog application is also fully integrated with GroupCamp Project's task management applicaton. This allows project managers to record time directly on their tasks.
Time tracking application - tracking company billable hours
The new release also includes a new Timesheet application which allows users to enter their daily activities and record time either on projects on independent time categories such as training and traveling.
Project Managers can then generate cross-project reports with breakdown by user, project and categories. All reports can then be exported in PDF, CSV or in Excel format and sent out to clients are imported in third-party software for invoicing purposes.
